Hi, I'm Elise. If you're reading this, you want to know a bit more about me.- which is pretty crazy for me to think about considering I've spent most of my life trying to stay as far out of the spotlight as possible. Although YouTube and photography haven't always been my thing, travel and adventure most certainly have.
Born and raised in England, I got my first real taste for adventure at 9 years old when my parents hauled myself and my brother half way around the world to start a new life in the beautiful Aotearoa, New Zealand.
School was a bore, and by the time I reached year 12 I found myself desperate to get back on a plane and see the world some more. At 17 years old, the only solution to this very large problem of mine was to do a student exchange, so that was exactly what I did. I spent the entire year of 2017 living my very best life in Austria with a wonderful group of other Rotary Youth Exchange students.
After that fever-dream of a year, it was time to try and make my parents proud again by going to university in our vibrant capital city of Wellington.
Four years and one degree later (English Literature and Creative Writing if you want to know), it was time to quench that ever-increasing desire to flee the country again, this time to South-East Asia with my gorgeous boyfriend Jack.
I think I planned our itinerary a little bit too well, because not only did we have the absolute TIME OF OUR LIVES bopping around Cambodia, Vietnam and (due to an involuntary visa muck-up at the border *cough cough Jack*) Thailand, but my life-long desire to see the world was quadrupled. Not only that, but I seemed to have infected Jack as well.
As soon as we returned home, we packed up our stuff and moved to Auckland to chase the big bucks that would fund our next big trip, and after 2 years of the corporate grind, it's safe to say I'm ready for the next adventure.
